  • Donata Gabelloni

Donata Gabelloni holds a M.Sc. in Management Engineering at the University of Pisa and a Ph.D. in Management Engineering at the University of Roma Tor Vergata. Her field of interest are methodologies and tools for new product development. In particular, she has focused her research work on functional analysis, collaborative product design systems and semiautomatic analysis of technical documents, such as patents. In 2010 she was a Research Collaborator for the Project “Technology Foresight of the biomedical and textile sectors in Tuscany” commissioned by the Regional Authority in Tuscany (Italy). Since 2014, she has been working in Erre Quadro srl, where she co-coordinates and manages all R&D projects on semiautomatic tools for patents analysis and on how to use data extracted from patents to map technologies and trends. She has been involved in several projects with companies, using the above-mentioned information to support their strategic plans.

  • Andrea Mazzoni

Andrea Mazzoni is a Junior Patent Analyst and Concept Design Engineer in Erre Quadro. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 with the final dissertation "Design and fine-tuning of a liquid photopolymer 3D printer". His collaboration with Erre Quadro started in 2017. His activity is focused on patent analysis (prior art, validity/invalidity, statistical analysis, technology overview) performed with advanced methods and tools. He also performs product development for innovative projects and mechanical design of prototypes. Since 2018 he collaborates with the University of Pisa and the University of Florence for development and testing of devices for eye surgery.
