My research activity began in 2001 as a predoctoral fellow (FPI grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology) of a research project funded by CICYT, call for the National R&D Plan. This project was awarded to the Physical Properties Laboratory research group, currently LPF-TAGRALIA. I worked on the evaluation of fruit and vegetable quality sensors, and their adaptation to assembly in handling lines. Since then, I have remained linked to this line of research. In parallel, I began to take an interest in automation, the electrification of agricultural machinery and renewable energy, specifically photovoltaic solar energy.
