João Coimbra is the Administrator of Quinta da Cholda SA, Portugal. He is specialized in the production of corn and an expert in several precision farming equipments which he uses in his farm. All the information about the crops and cultural operations is collected and handled, allowing the farm to have a very solid historical database.
José Rafael Marques da Silva is an Associated Professor with aggregation at the Rural Engineering Department, University of Évora, Portugal. His research interests are applications of the COPERNICUS program to agriculture (Radar, optical and thermal sensors), Geographical Information Technologies for Biomass and Bio-energy, Geographical Information Technologies for Precision Agriculture and Precision Viticulture, Agricultural and Environmental Data Mining.
Manuela Correia collaborator of the Rural Engineering Department, University of Évora, Portugal. She has a graduation in Animal Science and a masters’ degree in Management of Biological Resources. Her research interests are Precision Agriculture, Remote Sensing and Irrigation Management.
