The SPARKLE course is about to start…

The SPARKLE course is about to start: the four universities involved can’t wait to start with their courses and share with different students and farmers all the lessons that the whole partnership has developed in the last months with big effort and commitment!
All people interested in following the lessons (both students and farmers) should pay attention to the following table which indicates all the useful information relating to the start and end dates of the courses.

The Sparkle course on SPA will consist on three teaching activities:

1. E-learning: with an estimated dedication about 20-30 hours, the students will be able to access to the online materials generated in Work Package 3 at the SPARKLE Platform (http://sparkle-project.eu/moodle/), concerning theoretical knowledge on 4 designated Areas: SPA overview, Technologies, Social and economic aspects and Entrepreneurship in farming.

Field work: 4 hours of face to face session(s) will be organized by Universities to involve the students in practical activities about technical knowledge.
Entrepreneurial skills: 8 hours of face to face session(s) will be organized by Universities to involve the students in practical activities about entrepreneurship and managerial knowledge.

Furthermore, for any information concerning the course in each country involved in the project, the partnership has activated email accounts to which all people following the course can address.

Trainees will be required to complete interim exams, at the end of each Moodle topic: partners have developed tests with at least 10 questions for each topic; the SPARKLE Moodle platform will select randomly half of them. Students must answer correctly to all of them in order to qualify for the final diploma, even though tests can be repeated (to promote self-learning; best scores will be registered). All topics (materials) will be accessible during the course, so students can choose their own order and pace to follow them.

All people attending the course will also complete one final exam: 30 questions randomly selected on Moodle to evaluate the final knowledge, after having completed all topics in the SPARKLE course.
