SPARKLE Project fourth meeting in Madrid

Between 7th and 11th October 2019 the fourth meeting of SPARKLE project took place in Madrid, at The Spanish National Research Council’s (CSIC) venue.

Sustainable Precision Agriculture: Research and Knowledge for Learning how to be an agri-Entrepreneur is an Erasmus+ project developed by eleven partners from four different European countries and aimed to the creation of a e-learning course on sustainable precision agriculture; it is now at the end of his second year of activity.

Main aims of the meeting have been the definition of next steps’ contents and deadlines. First, it’s time for finalisation of courses’ material: the partnership is producing slideshows and videos to be uploaded on a MOODLE online platform. Next, courses testing phase will start in the first quarter of 2020 both by means of the MOODLE platform and of lectures in the Universities part of the consortium.

What about future steps? The foundations of SPARKLE’s business model competition have already been articulated. Challenges will be thrown down by companies active in precision agriculture and open for students’ groups. Furthermore, winners will have the opportunity to disclose results in front of companies in charge of competitions.

We look forward to the next months for further updates.
