Dr. Manuel Pérez Ruiz
Since 2007 Manuel Pérez-Ruiz is professor at University of Sevilla (Spain). He obtained his Master’s degree (2002) and PhD (2007) in Agricultural Engineering from University of Córdoba (Spain). After this, he specialized in precision agriculture, agricultural machinery design, GNSS/RTK technology and new systems for weed management precision agriculture technologies during two years stay in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at University of Davis (California), under supervision of Dr. David C. Slaughter. He is involved in European and national framework projects (7th FP, ICT-AGRI and ERASMUS+) on advanced farming technologies. He has authored 25 scientific papers published in SCI scientific journals as well as included in various book chapters. He is co-funder of Agrosap and Agroplanning startups.

Dr. Jorge Martínez Guanter
Jorge Martínez Guanter is a PhD Agronomist Engineer, specialized in Precision Agriculture and new technologies applied to digital farming. With clear vocation for international research and teaching, and high expertise in new technologies applied to agriculture, perception systems, automation, machine learning, Geographical Information Systems, machine vision and mechatronics, etc. He has authored 8 publications indexed in the Journal Citation Reports in Q1 journals and 16 publications in scientific research. He is a member of the AGR-278 Smart Biosystems Laboratory research group.
